Buenos Aires, 11 August, 2020.- Tennium, Global Tennis Platform, proudly announces the signing of the promising 16 year-old Solana Sierra, from Argentina, who joins the 19 year-old Facundo Diaz Acosta, another young talent from that country, where Tennium also owns the ATP 250 Argentina Open, reinforcing the commitment with Argentine tennis, specifically on the female side.

Already among the top 100 in the ITF junior rankings, Sierra was also the U-12, U-14 and U-16 national number 1. Her performance in the 2019 Junior Fed Cup and her title at the prestigious JB1 tournament in Brasilia are highlights in her career.

As a professional, Solana also confirmed her projections, having earned her first WTA Tour point by the end of 2018 and growing better in each tournament since then, defeating players over her ranking as the Brazilian Thaisa Pedretti, who is among the top 350. Sierra is one of the 10 youngest players in the WTA rankings.

Enric Molina, Executive Director and Tennium partner, will be the player’s agent. “I am very happy to join forces with Solana, who has shown great potential. It’s another important step for Tennium as an international management company”.

Martin Jaite, Argentina Open director and part of Tennium staff, said: “Solana has a very modern game, she takes the initiative, plays aggressive and seeks for quick points. “I am excited that a company like Tennium, that manages so many stars, has posed its eyes on me. I am happy and confident at the same time. Having Enric as agent, someone with so many years in the tennis industry, is a boost for my career, for the years to come, and a motivation towards the big challenges ahead”, said Solana Sierra.
