Ticket sales for European Open 2025 now open, Bergs and Goffin confirm participation!

Ticket sales for the European Open 2025 (12–19 October) officially kick off today! This year’s edition promises to be a special one: Belgium’s biggest tennis tournament celebrates its tenth anniversary and moves to a new home: the vibrant city of Brussels. Adding extra star power to the celebrations, Belgian tennis stars David Goffin (ATP-49) and Zizou Bergs (ATP-50) have already confirmed their participation.

With ticket sales now underway, the countdown to the European Open 2025 has officially begun. As Belgium’s only ATP 250 tournament, the European Open has secured its spot on the international tennis calendar. After nine successful years, and a champions’ list featuring former winners like Jannik Sinner, Félix Auger-Aliassime, and Andy Murray, the tournament moves this year to Brussels, where top players will clash at the ING Arena, formerly known as Paleis 12 at Brussels Expo.

The central location makes the tournament easily accessible for fans from both Belgium and abroad. Plus, the new venue offers more space and enhanced facilities, allowing the organizers to elevate the fan experience to new heights: more comfort, more excitement, more tennis!

The move to Brussels coincides with a major milestone: the tournament’s tenth anniversary. Fittingly, this jubilee edition will feature a world-class player field, including Belgian crowd favorites David Goffin and Zizou Bergs.

David Goffin, currently ranked world No. 49, will make his sixth appearance at the European Open. On his debut in 2016, he immediately reached the semifinals and has since made it twice to the quarterfinals. The 34-year-old Belgian is in fine form: just last month, he stunned world No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz. This October, Goffin will be aiming to capture his first title on home soil.

Zizou Bergs (ATP-50) is also set to light up the Brussels crowd. The 25-year-old from Pelt, now coached by former ATP star Kristof Vliegen, has had a strong start to the season. Like Goffin, he recently reached the quarterfinals at the ATP tournament in Munich, underlining his international ambitions. Last year, Bergs fought his way to the European Open quarterfinals, narrowly losing a hard-fought battle against American Marcos Giron (ATP-45). In Brussels, expect him to once again thrill the home fans and cement his status as an emerging global force.

Belgian tennis is experiencing a renaissance, driven by a new wave of talent including Alexander Blockx and Raphaël Collignon. The European Open continues to offer fans a unique chance to witness both established champions and tomorrow’s stars up close, staying true to its mission of bringing world-class tennis to Belgium and inspiring a new generation.
