Carlos Alcaraz defends his title at the Barcelona Open

Carlos Alcaraz closed his participation in the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell this Sunday with a victory (6-3, 6-4) that enters him in the exclusive club of the two-time champions of the tournament, becoming the eleventh player to achieve this feat, the second Spaniard after Rafa Nadal. Facing him was Stefanos Tsitsipas, who with this lost three finals at the Barcelona Open.

Additionally, Alberto Pulido from the Canary Islands and Carla Vázquez from Catalonia were proclaimed champions of the new edition of the tournament in the Under-14 category. With their brilliant performance this morning they have put an end to the test that brought together this week the best rackets of a circuit for young tennis talents that for another year has promoted the organization of the tournament in collaboration with the Catalan Tennis Federation and Esportcat.
